It amazes me people like Kelly Clarkson don't seem to have a clue that a device called a v-i-d-e-o r-e-c-o-r-d-e-r was invented, a machine seemingly designed with the express purpose of ruining so-called celebrities careers. While this particular segment may not do her any damage, the fact that she has so publically left her reputation unguarded leads me to question both her agent and her common sense.

Mind you, I don't think it was necessarily bad, but considering that these people spend a great deal of time, effort, and money in cultivating a certain image, it seems foolish to take chances like what she was doing that evening. On the other hand, she is a far better performer than anybody on stage except the axe player. I'm not ashamed to say I heart her, and that she and Fantasia were the only Idol winners I ever gave a damn about.
