Back in Time for the Election SeasonFollow

That's right I'm back! Oahu was a freaking blast. After a month of sun and beautiful women wearing very little and outrageous surf I feel like a new man. Time to perform my civic duty and get this pac set up to keep that n*gger Ford out of the senate. For at least the next few months you can look forward to being thoroughly entertained as I personally supervise this pac.

Oh and it's football time in Tennessee!!!

The Polish-American Congress! Varrus is a good ******!

Alternately, it's a political action committee which is a buncha guys who get together to try to get someone voted into office (or prevent someone from the same).

I know you prefer places like nola, compton, south beach, dc, philly, hampton roads. True signs of soul and virtue; who runs those places again?

Bhodi,

Again, you have to pay people to join your PAC? No one cares enough about your little cause to donate time? They need to be bribed?

Now that's amusing! Smiley: laugh

He has to pay people to join his group.

He doesnt have any people in his pac.

Therefore we can safely assume he is poor and unable to pay wages.

That's right I keep forgetting the whacky libs expect people to just contribute their time and money. Contrarily republicans actually value the time and effort it takes to get someone elected; which incidentally is why we kick the dems as* in fund raising every election cycle.

Nuh uh. Blagojevich has, like, a million-bajillion more dollars than Topinka.

It's okay that you have to bribe people to join your little club though. No shame in that. Ok, maybe a little shame but no more than you're already used to, I'm sure.

NASHVILLE – After more than three months and $6 million of advertising by Bob Corker, U.S. Senate nominee Harold Ford leads, heading into the final stretch of the race, 44% to 42%. A new poll sample of 1,118 likely Tennessee voters conducted Aug. 10-15 also shows Corker’s negatives have dramatically increased.

The poll, conducted by Pete Brodnitz of Benenson Strategy Group for the Ford campaign, shows Democrats and independents coalescing behind Ford while Corker’s base is failing to unite. With a margin of error +/- 2.93%, the poll shows Ford leading Corker by 2 points.

In June, internal polling showed Ford’s favorable rating at 47%. The new results show Ford’s favorable rating increasing to 55%. During the same period, Corker’s unfavorable rating increased sharply by 10 points from 16% to 26%.

I'll be interested in hearing how your "but he's a ******!" campaign goes.

Well, not really, but I am picturing you as the crazy old coot in Blazing Saddles, which is peripherally amusing.
