So I met this woman a couple weeks ago at the pub and we sort of hit it off. She had been eyeballing me all evening, I took note, and eventually she approached me and we spent the remainder of the night together. At closing time, she asked if she could come home with my roommate and I to continue the festivities at our place, which I of course answered yes. One thing led to another, etc. and I ended up taking her back home the next morning.

I called her a few days later, prior to my trip to NJ, and worked out a time to see her earlier this week. I took her out to a nice little place and had a lovely dinner and a few drinks. At the end of the "date" I had come to the conclusion that I really wasn't interested in making a long term relationship out of this, or even a short term dating thing either. I explained that to her and she didn't seem to take it so well. She was a little pissed, said some less than attractive things, and stormed back into the pub where I had picked her up. I stood outside for a bit, smoking a cigarette and eventually she came back out and apologized.

We sat outside for a time while I explained where the two of us stood. Looking at her, I think she understood but for some reason at the end of the night she still wanted to go home with me. Best I can figure is that her former SO of eight years wasn't able to give it to her the way she liked it and she's just in it for the sex. I suppose that I shouldn't have a problem with that but the way she acts is almost like she's in denial that I'm not interested in courting her.

So really, the advice I'm looking for is how do you dump a girl that you aren't dating that totally has hots for your junk? I've never had a physically based relationship with a woman that did not also involve at least some level of romantic intimacy so I'm a little in the dark about these things.

I'd tell you a story but I've been informed that I tell it too often!

You should amend that to read how can I get rid of this chick guilt-free. Honestly though, if you're not seeing anyone else, why not keep her around for booty calls? Get some when you feel the urge, and totally deny any requests she makes that don't perfectly fit in your planner. In the end, you get to hit it a few more times, at least, and she'll probably get tired of being treated like a ho sooner or later. If she doesn't, you marry her.

Or you could just stick it in her butt.

Quit calling her, ignore her when you see her and bring other girls with you when you go to that pub.

Or, you could just tell her that she deserves better and that you wish her well in her life.

I had a similar problem once, but I had not been really involved with the girl at all. I politely informed her that nothing was going to happen between us and she didn't accept it.

"Why not, don't you like me?"
"Not really, not in that way"
"What do you not like about me?!"
"It is best if we don't get into that."
"Please tell me!"

At this point I said "Fine" and rattled off a list of things that made me not interested in her. This worked. Her response: "Fine then, I'll go over to Mike's house, he wants me."

I still don't know who the hell Mike is.

I never believe it when women say they are only interested in a guy for sex. It's NEVER that easy, IMO. Don't kid yourself, she wants the relationship, so cut her loose once and for all and move along.

I love the dichotomy of opinions of the sexes. The women are basically saying to shut her down completely while the guys are saying to tag her til she leaves. I've already decided that sex is no longer an option, as I'm on board with what Tare said. It really never is that easy. The biggest concern I have right now is that we met on my turf and if I remain friendly with her it might become an awkward series of situations while I'm there. She pretty much knows that if she's looking for me, I'll most likely be there.

Probably not a good idea that I told her about them, but I like to be honest with people. It's going to be hard to leave her alone, because gotdam she a freak in bed. Don't get me wrong, she really is a sweet girl, just not the sort of person I see myself with.

Tell her that, verbatim, and she'll leave you alone. Sadly, some girls just won't stop until you make them feel inadeqaute.
