You were the one with the raging hard-on for people accuratly describing psycopaths, right?
Have you checked out Most Evil on the Discovery Channel yet? You would probably love it. Last night they were covering the brain differences between psychopaths and someone with a "normal" brain makeup. While some of the more in-depth information is dropped for entertainment value, it is still worth a watch.
On a side note:
One of the studies done to try and show psychopaths lacking the ability to feel fear was to as follows:
The subject (normal or otherwise) would come into a room and have electrodes attached to them to measure heart rate and persperation. They would then be told that they would have to make a two minute speach on the worst thing they have ever done, and that it would be videotaped.
The idea behind this is that a normal person would become nervous and have physiological reactions to the thought of having to tell someone (and be recorded saying) the "worst thing you have ever done in your life". Psychopaths were found to not have as pronounced reations as normal people.
Now, is it just me, or would it be really fun to get to run that study. I would love to just sit there and listen to people tell you the horrible, awful things that they are afraid to let out.
