Sudden Death football leagueFollow

I mentioned some time back around when the Fantasy league was being formed that I'd be interested in a Sudden Death pool for this year's NFL season. Buff just wrote me a PM saying he'd like to be in, so that's two of us. Any others? If so, we need to get the ball rolling on this before the regular season begins.

If this happens we'll need to agree to a buy-in cost and have someone reputable be the bagman to hold the winnings for us-- which may preclude just about every one of you cheating, lying, no account bastards.

The rules are simple:

Pick one and only one team to win each week. You may choose any team, but once used that team can no longer be used for the rest of the season. Any loss by the team of your choice eliminates you from the competition. The last man standing wins the entire pot. In the event of a tie, wherein two or more players are left in the game and get beaten, the $ gets split between them.

Teams must be selected each week by Wednesday before the games and must be posted online here on the board. Anybody who does not meet the posting deadline of midnight Wednesday is automatically eliminated.

Any takers besides me and Buff?

When reading the subject title I had something else entirely different in mind. I'd be more interested in betting on how many players drop dead on the field (play or practice) before fall.

In, and both Yahoo and ESPN have excellent versions of the game you are describing Totem, all we need is more people and someone to set it up.

I am in. Anything football related but doesn't involve my lazy *** getting out of the recliner is a win in my book.

How about I pay for everyone's entrance. What we'll do is I'll send you all a money order for $500, then you cash the money order, pay for the entrance fee, keep $50 and send me the rest cash. Is good? Smiley: dubious

In all seriousness, I'm thinking $20-50 buy-in price and someone like FleaJo1 holds the bag. For as much as she gets her panties in a twist about all the things not right with the world, she seems the type least likely to rip us off around here. Yeah, yeah, this is a backhanded compliment to her integrity I suppose. For as long as I've been here she's a straight arrow.

We just have to keep her away from the Louis Vitton handbag store...

First go to paypal, then send it to lionsfan@excite.com and you are in.

No that is not my paypal address or even my email address so sending chicks with dicks subscriptions to it will not bother me in the least
