In efforts to streamline my typing and cut down on time spent correcting errors, the word "to" will now be spelled "ot". I am accepting additional words and alternatives in case anyone wants ot join my petition.

And yes...waht is on my list.

"form" instead of "from."

There are so many ways to improve/simplify English spellings:

Quote:
For example, in Year 1 that useless letter 'c' would be dropped
to be replased either by 'k' or 's', and likewise 'x' would no longer
be part of the alphabet. The only kase in which 'c' would be retained
would be the 'ch' formation, which will be dealt with later. Year 2
might reform 'w' spelling, so that 'which' and 'one' would take the
same konsonant, wile Year 3 might well abolish 'y' replasing it with
'i' and Iear 4 might fiks the 'g/j' anomali wonse and for all.

Jenerally, then, the improvement would kontinue iear bai iear
with Iear 5 doing awai with useless double konsonants, and Iears 6-12
or so modifaiing vowlz and the rimeining voist and unvoist konsonants.
Bai Iear 15 or sou, it wud fainali bi posibl tu meik ius ov thi
ridandant letez 'c', 'y' and 'x' -- bai now jast a memori in the maindz
ov ould doderez -- tu riplais 'ch', 'sh', and 'th' rispektivli.

Fainali, xen, aafte sam 20 iers ov orxogrefkl riform, wi wud
hev a lojikl, kohirnt speling in ius xrewawt xe Ingliy-spiking werld.

I don't think that words that already exist count, although I'll be sure ot add that option in my petition.

Read what Smash writes. That should get you a lot of words to add.

On a related note, when I was in 7th grade, I represented my school in the county spelling bee. I was one of the finalists and glibly spelled my way through words such mimosaceous and ptarmigan, only to be eliminated with the word "Yippee."

One of the few words I don't catch is account; transposing the second c and the o tends to either invoke swear filters or **** off females.

This thread smells like failure and self-loathing.

Hmm, on second thought, maybe I should open a window.

You can also use it in 4um and other such places. Htree letters saved!

I always mistype execute, which really buggers up these pages. "Cannot find method exeucte", much h8 for that line.
