I have inherent mistrust of the name "doug" due to it being the name everyone referred to themselves as on ToT.

That's what we're trying to unravel!

Who is this Doug? What makes him tick? What are his dreams? Why is he just a slack-***? Why is it that when Bruce Banner gets angry, he turns into a rampaging green skinned brute but Doug merely informs people "I am now Angry Doug!"?

If I was still playing City of Heroes, I'd totally make a guy named "Angry Doug".

Google images found him easily. Nubs.

Exactly! I picture him as a slightly more nerdy "Mr. Furious", whose only super power was to get really, really mad.

Why do people buffer the start of sentences with "so"?

I can see doing it in speech, when you're struggling for words. But why in type?

Shhhhhhhhhh! Dawg, you'll just confuse Doug. He doesn't know what ToT is and without someone spelling it out for him over the louspeakers-- "Bag Boy Doug, cleanup on aisle 5!" --he'll just internalize his anger even further causing his more distress. Imagine, if you will, he makes a lateral career move from bagging groceries at Safeway to another job in his comfort zone, something along the likes of vegetable sprayer/mop boy at Raley's Food Market. His fury could produce behavior which might manifest itself in fruit bruising or failing to front older produce in the coolers.

Can you see the ramifications, dear? Please, pleasse, please do not exacerbate the problem by confusing him with troll references! The results could be disasterous for fresh produce across the city!

I don't think the produce was Doug-free to begin with, dawg.
Just sayin'.

Crappy story, too much pre-pubescent angst, not enough ninjas or pirates.

I second that. Thought it would be at least amusing to read. More action, be it verbally or physically.
