I'm tired of being in a country full of valiant and principled debonair warriors.

I feel the urge to share a beer or two with innate cowards and people who can't tell the difference between pets, garden vermin and fine food.

So France and Belgium are about to be Nobby'd and N0blet'd.

Bon vacances a tous!

Enjoy the trip! When you're in Belgium and are in need of a good strong beer, be sure to try out the Bush Beer, but best beware as it is the strongest beer we got! (really dangerous beer at 12% alcohol, it goes down really smooth)

Stella Artois is my beer of choice here when I don't have access to Ale.

Bush Beer has all the discreet insouciance of a prolapsed wallaby's uterus. Just sayin'. I think the word is 'sh1te'.

Jupiler's OK but give me a Leffe Blonde in Brugge and I'm content to sit in a bar on Markt and watch teh gurlies go by.

Aah, you're a Leffe person Smiley: smile. Never did like that, I prefer Grimbergen myself, and preferably dark.

If you're in Brugge, there's a small pub not that far from the Markt ("Brugs Beertje") that has about every Belgian beer for sale. No foreign beers, only Belgian ones. A grand way to spend a few hours, or more depending on the consumptions. Mind you, might be preferable to sitting in the rain, lots of rain these days in Belgium, you're a week or two too late for the hottest period in Belgian history.

If that's the one on Kemelstrat (sp?), then I have to reluctantly agree. Cozy friendly place with very few yanks and a friendly bunch of blokes.

They had several impertinent little brews there, but there's one I've only ever found there called 'Pandeit' or something. Nutty flavoUr and seemed to create a fraternal bond between me and a few cab and bus drivers there one night.

I'm told I was rather drunk that night.

I am in no position to confirm or deny.

That's the place! There used to be a cinema complex nearby so the place was always insanely crowded in the weekends. Been a few years since I've been there myself though.

"Pandreitje" is a local beer, mostly for local people but some of it gets around. It's brewed near where I used to live in Assebroek by some semi-hippie.

Bonne vacances amidst the singes-mangeurs-de-fromages-qui-se-rendent!!

Try to check out Renaud while you're there, I'm sure you'll dig him.

Lucky you, french chicks are soo hot! Especially in summer, they're up for anything! And they love a bit of the old "Perfide Albion"...

If you want the truth, I'm feeling insecure and inferior because the Noblet has been wolf-whistled on 3 occasions by hawt French chicklets.

Little bastage!

My consolation is that the 'irrestistable to focksay hawties" has indeed been passed on.
