You may have noticed Joph's and my avatars. This was prompted by another discussion, one that centered loosely around stupid things we found attractive in our tender early teens. He was a sucker (as most guys were) for Susanna Hoff's bidirectional peepers, and I would just salivate at the thought of George Micheal. Even though he trips the light rainbowtastic, I still think he is a fine piece of man-candy who has held up quite well over time. The "Faith" video was his defining look when I was around fourteen or so.

Dreamy!

What star of the time did you have your first crush on?

Young lady, if you are describing Ms. Hoffs' ocular orbs as "stupid", I shall have to challenge you to a duel of fisticuffs!

I never got that whole star facination thing, so I'll have to bow out of this one and stick with the Royalty theme!

It's okay, Dana. You can include the Princess from Mario Bros. or other virtual crushes.

I'm in. As a mid-70s to early 80s teenager, this poster of Adrienne Barbeau was on my bedroom wall during the heyday of those raging hormone-filled years. I've had other posters of beautiful women, but I remember this one the most.

"Pictures of Lily" indeed...

Yewwww bastards! Smiley: motz I'd rub one out, but I'm at work. Gah! The frustration! Just like my teen years!! Face...starting... to...break out! Nooooo!Smiley: tongue

Unfortunately, I can't find a scan of the exact shot, so no avatar.

When I was 12, I saw Dirty Dancing for the first time. Now, there's a moment in the "Hungry Eyes" sequence when Patrick Swayze is shirtless and they're doing this twisting-type motion while the camera moves in a circle around them. And when that camera is on Swayze's back, you can see Every. Single. Muscle. moving.

The movie is complete crap, yes, but gimme a break, I was 12. And that there seeing his back muscles move was pretty much my first moment of, "Hmm, so this is what lust is..."

I know EXACTLY which moment you're talking about! And yes, that was another lust-filled teen moment.

Yeah, me too. Gonna have to hang my head in shame, but those lats are still extremely beautiful 20 years later.

Unfortunately still no idea how to save the video, so can't edit it down to an avatar to share the gorgeous lats with all.

If I still had premo, that's what it was, and that's what it'll be if I ever get it again.

Or maybe one of these, have too many to sift through:

KARI WUHRER Ever since I saw her on Remote Control (an early MTV game show).

Before MTV I would have to say ERIN GRAY One of the best things about "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century."
