I'd kill the old man, and then **********. This way god would take care of the puppy as well.

Kill the puppy. There would be no chance the puppy might leave me in his will, or have a hot granddaughter(s) who would so thankful.

Definitly the Puppy. Old man wouldn't taste good if you cooked him, the puppy probably would though!

The old man, obviously. Near the end of his life span, an old man would have little further to offer the world (except inheritance). A puppy will grow and flourish and has the potential to do something (though propagating its species will likely be an option removed).

The author of this topic has a neat name, Pringlesthetaru.
