37,800,000 * 40 = 1,512,000,000 acres. Yikes. 640 acres to the miles means a state of 2,362,500sq miles. That's 3.5 Alaskas. 40 Acres sounded excessive anyway. At one acre a head, you get 59,062sq miles -- just about the size of Georgia. Warmer there, too!
