As some/most of you may know, I work at Bolt Warehouse. I used to do both office work and warehouse work, but since we hired a warehouse lacky, there wasn't much of a need for me to go back there, other than tid bits here and there.

Today, though, Chris (the lacky) called in sick. (Funny how things work, you'll find out what I mean later.) No biggie, really, all the work that had to be done was done yesterday and if I had to go back there for anything, it's not something I'm not used to or wouldn't know about.

So, I'm sitting in my office, with little to do since
[an error occurred while processing this directive] [an error occurred while processing this directive] is the most I could get out of Allah, today, when I heard a loud kerplunk in the warehouse.

Upon stepping foot into the warehouse, my level of shock could've killed a small horse.

There are shelves against the right wall of the warehouse where pallets are loaded up. The fell forward. Almost the whole wall.

The forklift is currently wedged in what seems to be bent metal, broken pallets, and an assortment of boxes. If I were back there for any reason whatsoever, I would've been a dead man.

Freaky shit. If I can get a screenshot (Exo....SCREENSHOT?! WTF is wrong with you?!) I'll post it up.

Yeah, the cam sucks. I'll post better ones up later.

I'll be looking for a new job if they even hint my name in the cleanup crew. We've been giving my boss PLENTY of warning that those shelves weren't stable. Him being the person that he is...well..proof is right there.

Exo, don't you know anything? You should have run out there immediately and dug a hole in the rubble, positioned yourself beneath it, and called 911! You'd be rich!

you realize you broke the pattern of death and now you will have to watch your step for the rest of your life. Death does not like to be cheated

You can't cheat Death, though sometimes she's willing to bargain. She always catches up to you eventually.

Wow Exo. Hindsight, if the crash had to happen, it happened on good timing at least. Now you guys can do the "I Told You So" dance to your boss. But you should have spiced up the story about how you jumped out of the way at the very last minute instead of being at your desk tweaking Alla.

Well...I'm not the type to brag but...

There was a small french midget in the warehouse, right under the shelves in question. I was able to cartwheel over to it, grab it, and backflip out of the way, all the while roundhousing any cartons that flew at my general direction.

True story.

I had my ex-girlfriend give me a french midget once.
It was fantastic.

Well, the way things look now, it's just going to be me, you, Joph, Flea, and Tricky sitting in a bar. Somehow, I have the feeling that you and Flea'Jo are going to go off into the night for some kinky three-way, leaving me and Tricky with the bill and a glass full of jealousy.

Wait a minute, do we even have a month this is happening in? I may have missed it. How do we know who may or may not be coming without a date?
