Snakes on a Plane Soundtrack:

We seem to be losing altitude
at an alarming pace
Midtown downtown
Snakes on a blog
I suggest you grab your ankles
and kiss your *** goodbye.

It's always good to turn to Morrissey when looking for awful lyrics.

- Queen, "I want to break free"

Quote:
I've fallen in love for the first time,
And this time I know it's for real...

If it's the first time...

- Beatles, "Day Tripper"

Quote:
She was a daaaaaay tripper,
One way ticket-yeah...
It took me soooo long,
To find out...

Surely not longer than a day? Maybe two?

- "California Dreaming":

Quote:
All the leaves are brown,
and the sky is grey,
I went for a walk,
On a winter's day...

Brown leaves in winter?

My favourite is from the Darkness song, "I belive in a thing called..."

Quote:
I've got a one way ticket to hell and back

Classic.

Beatles, Yellow Submarine:

Quote:
And our friends are all aboard, many more of them live next door...

If they're all aboard, then they cant be next door. To a submarine. Double whammy.

Why she had to go I don't know, she wouldn't say.
I said something wrong, now I long for yesterday

Got ya. Unless he's just assuming that he said something wrong and doesn't know what it was, when she really could have left for some other reason.....

I know, I'm reaching.

No, you're right. But then it should be "I said something wrong? Now I long for yesterday..." or something like that.

Noobs...

Elderon the Wise wrote:

By taking about grey skies one implies that there is another "sunshine" that would make the skies not grey. Also, does this mean that the object of the song only makes the singer happy when there is no natural sun in the sky? On a bright, sunny day, should the lyrics change to "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine if you don't include the burning star which is the center of our galaxy"? Furthermore, does calling someone your sunshine incinuate that they ar enice from a distance, but it pains you to be in their proximity, as you would be burnt to death should you actually get close to the sun?

What was going through that song writer's head? Smiley: confused

I lol'd.. workers think i'm crazy..

Went from all those crazy lyrics to these and they just fit right in..
