Today at 1:30 ET Im off to have my ultrasound, the one that determines how the baby is developing, along with, if luck prevails, I can find out the gender. SO what do you think it's going to be folks? Will DSD be yet again playing with more Hotwheels over the next few years? Or having to dress up in princess clothes and have tea parties with fruit punch and oreos? Or, will the baby tell me to fuck off and I'll have to wait until s/he is born to find out?

Who calls it?

Consult the chinese calendar!
It's right 80% of the time or something stupid like that. Who cares, it's fun.

It was right with Hannah, and also shows that had she been conceived anytime in the following five months, that she would have been a boy! Go go July, haha!

OK, this is a silly question, but it's how my mom said she figured it out.

What was your son's first word? Mama or Dada? If he said "Dad" then your second will be a boy, and girl for "mom".

It's odd, but that's how she's always done it with her friends and even her own pregnancy with my sister...and I don't remember her being wrong.

I am going to guess it will wind up being a disappointment.

Ya know, it isn't too late to have your hubby kick you down some stairs to help prevent the "Look at my baby and pretend like you care to make me feel important" thread. Smiley: wink

Why must you force your children into gender bias? There's nothing wrong with your little girl playing with Hot Wheels and GI Joes!

Conversely, there shouldn't be anything wrong with your son serving punch and cookies in a dress...but that may be going a bit too far.

hehe Deb, actually I could care less if I had a girl that playede Hot Wheels. In fact, if that happened, I would have two kids easy to buy for and know that, despite the fist fights of whose car is whose, my two kids would have a ball together. And my son likes tea parties, but his idea of that consists of chinese tea and loads of cookies, while watching a hotwheels movie

Pffft.

Everybody knows that babies are utterly featureless until the moment of birth. Kinda like an egg. Then as they pop out they develop like a Polaroid picture, only in fast motion. But this only happens if they aren't found under cabbage leaves in the garden or delivered by large leggy birds wearing deliveryman clothes.

My ex-husband's birthday is December 16th. My first boyfriend's birthday was December 16th. I've had two bosses and a friend with birthdays on December 16th and my boyfriend before my husband was born on December 15th. I hope you have a girl, hahahaha, the girls were all nicer!

Are you going to tell us when you find out?
