I've never felt so empty in all my life. Nothing can prepare you for this.

Aegis,

Though I don't know you I am sorry for your loss.
My partner lost her mother about 3 years ago and she is still dealing with a lot of the grief from that time, but she has got better. Time will heal the pain though right now it feels like nothing can.

once agin my sincere condolences

I an sorry for your loss, reading this brought back fresh memories of when I lost my dad. He died of a maasive stroke while walking in the park. I was notified by a police officer. I felt like I should have known but I didnt and I cant really describe accurately how his death affected me but I will tell you that I wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy. Its been 11 years ago and I still miss him everyday. Its funny as much as we like to think otherwise, we never outgrow our dad. May you find peace.

My dad's got just a week or two left. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to be preparing for this either.

I'm sorry for your loss.
