awww...boyfriend, hehe.

Do you feel weird saying that? Just curious.

@#%^buddy better? Smiley: tongue

I am open to suggestions...

I shall shut up before I get myself into trouble.

Sorry, I was being sincere. It would just sound weird to me now to refer to someone as my boyfriend I think. Not having planned on it and all. Just curious if it was me being...well, meish.

You're more than welcome to call me your boyfriend if you really want to. I won't take any offence. Smiley: grin

I always kind of figured i'd be married and maybe have a kid by now. But things didn't work out that way. Funny how life works out.

I didn't mean anything by it Nexa, even though my attitude could possibly register on richtor atm. What do you call what we have? Boyfriend seems best, but if someone has a better idea, toss it my way. He doesn't like "boyfriend" either, but telling my Grandmother about my "lover" just doesn't fly here.

My boyfriend might get jealous, and we all know he is a force to reckon with.

Force or farce?

I've never liked "significant other" although I use it on occasion. It seems impersonal and not specific, since most people have lots of significant others. I'm just a pain in the ***. I think I'll refer to any and all future relationshipy people as my bed-warmers.

Although I'm also a fan of the gender-neutral "partner", I also find that I'm often unclear on whether someone is referring to their husband/wife or to a business associate. Not that it's any of my damn business anyway...but I'm nosey.

I say you go with "Snuggy Wumpkins". It is so sickly cute that he will be happy to hear boyfriend

I've never liked the term "S.O." ... it sounds too much like B.O.

And Partner only works if you're in law or you're gay.
