So move to a cabin in Montana that uses solar power and wind to heat and light your house. Then plant food so you can eat and be completely self-sufficiant.

Or quitcha *******

Tomorrow is only supposed to reach ninety-one, but I'll still be carrying bottles across town for recycling. It's a shame I'm so skinny already since I've been walking so much I'd have lost about twenty pounds since I got back here.

F'ucking hippy.

Have you changed the filter? When the filter gets old the compressor has to work harder to move the same volume of air.

Was 103 here today in the shade, not sure about heat index. No change in the forecast anytime soon.

High 70's low 80's, clear, just enough wind to make it comfortable.

Plains, beach area southern California.

Suck it.

10:30 a.m. and it's about 100 degrees already I think.

Military housing FTW! Free utilities and the AC is cranking away.

110 here, yesterday. My neighbor, who owns a Corvette, blames "global warming" - said we're ruining the planet, sure nuff. I asked him when he was trading in his Vette for a Prius. He stared at me like I was from the moon.

Apparently folks in the Chicagoland area set records yesterday for electric, since ACs were cranked to the maximum. I had the house set to a nifty 74 degrees, and it was actually quite comfortable.

We were fortunate to find a house where they had just replaced the main AC unit and furnace 2 years before we bought it, nice new Trane AC unit cranks out the cold air and our electric bill hasn't gotten above $80 yet even in triple digit heat.

Our unit and house are brand new, we are the first owners. The heat & air guy that came out today didn't seem surprised at all to find a new unit that was low on freon. He acted like initially set up correctly sometimes.

Yesterday I had the thermostat on 78 and my ac ran non-stop from about 9:30 am until sometime after 11:00 pm. The coldest it ever got in the house was 79 degrees Smiley: oyvey.

It has been >100 here for several days so I expected higher bills but not that high.

1 year builder's warranty ftw!

A/C guy came last week, brand new compressor and full of new Freon. Its 102 outside but a crisp 68 in my house.

Lots of the counties around me lost power for an hour or more yesterday since the power grid got overloaded. Fun!

I've never understood people who insist on 65F in mid summer and 80F in January. Moderating that to more closely match reality seems healthier, to me.

lovin the weather!!

We went from ninety-five degrees to fifty-five with golfball sized hail and flash-flood warnings here within an hour yesterdy. This is not supposed to happen in Colorado Springs, where we are nestled in the armpit of the foothills, sheltered from the elements.

More to the subject, though, I spend alot of time naked and misting myself with a spray bottle. In the winter I try to find something warm to lay on, like a rock or Nadenu.
