If you could guarantee me a trip like that without fear of addiction or criminal prosecution (and be "without fear" I mean legal not "let's do it in my basement, man, so the Man don't find us, man") I would try it. Until then I will continue to stick to alcohol and hangovers.

Pooooosay!

I pretty much just stick to alcohol. Most of my friends do drugs, but I see no real need for them.

You think booze leaves those braincells unharmed? Sounds you've lost a couple already!

That was the blows to the head. The alcohol just numbs the pain.

Dumbass.

Because alcohol isn't a mind altering substance also known as a drug?

It was quite obvious by the context I meant illicit drugs.

If you felt like taking a plane over to Amsterdam you could buy them legally there, and they are fresh! Most of what you find here is dried, packed, and smuggled in from Mexico. They taste and smell . . . weird.

As someone who suffers from chronic pain due to Fibromyalgia, the American attitude to pain treatment is a crying shame.

Presently my doctor will only give me darvocet, which has very little effect on the pain I live with daily. I only take it when the pain reaches unbearable levels and so I been able to make 60 pills meant for 6 months, last for one year. My reward for suffering most of the time, has been an increase of 120 pills.

There are many days that darvocet can't begin to touch the level of pain I'm in and I think of going to the ER. The thought of having to sit and wait for hours in a crowded waiting room, just to be seen though, makes me just grit my teeth and pray the pain will go away soon. Thankfully I am also on Ambien for sleep disorder that comes with FMS so I'm assure some sleep at night.

Studies should that only .01% of people who suffer from chronic pain become addicted to pain killers. For most are like me and will under medicate as we are not taking the drugs to get high, but just be able to function, as another person would take medicine for blood pressure or diabetes.

I would move to a state that has legalize pot for medical purposes, if Jonwin could find a better paying job there.

Sorry to hear that. In Canada, you just go back to your garden, pick off a fresh bud and you're all set.
