On my last legs hereFollow

Alright now I know this is probally the last place a person should post any thing like this cause lets be honest I'm about to reveal something about my self here and ask for your honest opinion/help, if this bothers or offends any one please by all means just ignore me, but if by chance you do have any information at all it would mean the world to me. Thank you again for yout time.

I've been in debt for the last year and a half or so and I honestly can't seem to catch up. I'm working two jobs now and my wife has just been told that she has to be put on bed rest. We have both been looking at the work at home jobs, but they all seem like scams, can any one tell me if they have ever done any of the work at home programs? If there is one that isn't a complete rip off. Your help would be greatly appricated, your falmes on the other hand wouldn't. Thank you again for your time and your advice.

First of all, if you know you're barking up the flame tree, deal with it, you stupid dolt.

That said, the only work-from-home that I've ever done that has been legit outside of interpreting has been transcription work.

Do everything you can for the debt aspect, refinance, consolidate, whatever you can. Your wife should qualify for disability, so that should help a bit.

How much you owe?

Out of repulsive and morbid curiosity, I clicked on your "My-Space" page and noticed you had numerous umm...ermm, ladyfriends. Many of whom left revolting messages like :"STOP BY AND RETURN THE LUV SOMETIME!!!!LUV,GINA,COCHINA " and then showed pictures of themselves in racy *****-house red lingerie.

Boy talk about 10lbs of flour in a five pound sack!

So about your money situation, perhaps while your wife is laying in bed on bedrest, you could charge all those ditch pigs that send you cyborz pictures of themselves in the latest from the Wal-mart Fall Lingerie Collection, some money for time spent jerking off. Isn't that what scumbags like yourself do well at anyways?

Either that or unplug your computer and insert that shotgun barrel into your mouth.

Ok where to start, Atomicflea first off transcription work is good and I could do that, What company did you use, if you don't mind me asking. Nephthys as for how much I owe its about ten grand give or take and I know a bunch of you will say thats not much but to me its huge and it keeps me up at nights, I've spent the last 28 years not oweing any one and now I owe like 10 diffrent people. Redjed as for my myspace page can some one say over fucking critical much there. Yes I have a lot of "unusal" friends but I can honestly say that I have neither cheated on my wife or *********** thinking about any of these woman. Trust me maybe some day you'll understand that what some looks like is diffrent from who they are. Now granted I'm sure you going to mark me down and start a flame war but theres a great saying about that, fighting on the internet is just like being in the special olympic you might win the fight but in the end your still a ******. So if you must go forth and flame away(or as I like to think of it "GAWD do I need atteition please help me").

I didn't go through any company in particular. I went through a staffing agency, and they sent it my way. There should be a whole slew of staffing agencies listed in your area in the phone book. That's how I found mine.

MOst of the At Home jobs I've seen involves you paying them to send you a catalog of some sort of things that you have to put your own money into in order to make money.... in other words.. *********

and waht, do you owe money to like sharks or gangsters or something? Surely you should be able to call them and work out some kind of budget plan based on your income.

At the very least, consult with a credit counseling/consolidation company. Some of them charge some outrageous fees, so examine each one carefully before you make a choice, if you go this route.

Like Nephy said, if your wife was working beforehand and is now being put on bed rest, she should qualify for disability. Some of your creditors also might have some program to defer payments for a time if one of the wage earners (your wife) is unable to work. Contact them and see if they do.

Last and not least, stop spending on everything but the necessities. Everyone at one point or another has had to stop spending money on fun stuff for just the necessities.

You can definitely work out a payment schedule with a tax preparer and for that matter with the Franchise Tax Board. Your inlaws would be a different matter; I'd let your wife do the negotiating there.

As for Discover... Call them. See if they'll renegotiate the interest rate. If you're barely paying the minimum you're going to essentially pay for those items twice before you get them paid off.

The best way to save your money is just not pay any of your bills, taxes, etc. Eventually you can even start consolidating and getting rid of those big-ticket items, like your car; sometimes they'll even be good enough to come and take it off your hands for you. Finally, rent can be eliminated outright. Just move out an crash on a buddy's couch for a few months. It works for me!

Get some actualy professional help with the debt. My sister had the same problem some years back, and with a little creative financial gimcrackery her monthly bills were reduced to a sane amount. She didn't have to declare bankruptcy but her credit rating did take a few hits. It made the difference between her making it and not. She's doing fine now.

most of the work at home things are just what you said, scams. if they ask for money up front, weather it is to buy supplies, or goods you will later sell, it is a scame. if it involves getting a percentage of something you get other people to sell, its a scam. your thinking along the right track.

as far as catching up with your bills, thats not an income problem, thats an income management problem. if you cant do it now, having more money wont make a differnace, you will just end up further in debt.

you need to have a serious talk with your wife, and get real about your financial position. somethings you must have, like electricity, food, shelter. something you dont need, like internet service, cable tv, cell phones, a new car, or more to the point, a car your paying a loan on. all of these can be eliminated.

you obviously havent trimmed your expenses as far as they could go, or you wouldnt be here posting as you would have no internet service. and the biggest waste of money i can think of is a cell phone. we survived without them 30 years ago, dont need them any more now than we did then. we just make excuses to feed our desire to have one. same with a computer.

but dont feel alone. most americans are in debt. and most of that debt comes from purchasing something we feel we are entitled to, when we dont have the disposable income to pay cash for it. untill you can learn to better manage your current resources, additional income will only compound your problem, not solve it.

but your not alone. its the american condition. for instance, 80 percent of the people who win the lottery end up in bacnkrupcy court within 4 years. more money didnt help them one bit. not even alot more money. you see people driving new cars, you feel you need one too. you go to the mall and see everyone on cell phones, you wonder where yours is. you see Blizzard bragging about 5 million customers, and out goes 15 bucks a month for a subscription, 40 bucks a month for dsl, and 1000 bucks for a new box.

then wonder why you have another 1000 dollars in debt next month, and have 70 bucks less every month to pay it with. you scratch your head and wonder why, your not doing anything they arnt doing, so why?

heads up, your doing exactly what most people are doing. living in debt. its not what you make, its what you spend it on that doesnt need to be spent.

suggestions.

get rid of ongoing monthly charges.
cell phones, internet service, online games, cable tv, onstar, music services online or satalite, phone servies like packages that have 3 way calling, or caller id, voice mail.

get rid of loans that have equity.
cars. sink it of you have to. pay cash for a dependable pos, drop the full coverage. get something good on gas, gas is a big issue now, my gas bill is more than my insurance bill. boats. boat insurance. toys like motorcycles.

a biggie that will save you a ton of money, stop going out to eat. no more fast food. will make you healthier too.

dont know where you live, or if you own or rent, but downsizing might be an option too, depending on where you are. living closer to work could also save you subsantially more money in fuel and transportation costs.

get real with your financial position. then look for more money.
