The last thread I made was asking if anyone was going to create one. I decided to since noone else has yet. It is still on Yahoo, but unlike last year where the settings accounted for low scoring games; this year we will have high scoring, more exciting games with a live draft.

16 teams max, with an 8 team playoff at the end.

Here is the link to sign up:

Did you read that aloud before posting that here? Smiley: grin

Of course he likes playing with himself. Why else would he tell us all about this great fantasy league and then we find out it has a password?

It's like the hawt girl next door always starting to undress in front of the open window, then moving out of sight every time. Such a tease...

I have a better idea that takes alot less work. I propose we begin a sudden death NFL pool, winner takes all. The rules are diabolically simple:

1) To remain in the competition you must win every week. Any loss and you are out of the running for the money.

2) You pick one team and only one team to win each week.

3) You may not pick the same team to win once you have used that choice.

4) Last man standing wins.

I guarantee there will be no ties unless two or more people lose at the same time. Picking every game is a near impossibility. In the event of a tie the pot gets divided between the winning losers. All players must have their picks posted here by Wednesday midnight before the games. If that deadline is missed it is considered an automatic loss.

I propose we have a $20 entry fee that would be held by an individual from this board who we can agree has a modicum of integrity and won't skip town with the caysh.

Any takers?

We have 3 teams in atm. Totem, I am down for your idea as well, but I myself do not find it as work to run a fantasy football team.

We have 5 teams now. I published the league as an open league so the closer it gets to the live draft date (08/15/06) it will start to fill up fast.

Just updating thread to see if we have anymore who want in before it fills up.

Feel free. We need more people anyways; as it stands, every team but one has two bye weeks.

We have 7 teams atm. The Live Draft is in 4 days and with having it posted on the public boards it will fill up quickly the day before the draft. A total of 16 teams are allowed.

I realize some people have had trouble getting signed up. Here is a direct link to the league, if this does not work for you, I am out of ideas to make it easier.

Damnit... I won't be able to make the live draft because I have real life football practice to go to... does that mean I have to leave the league?
#25 Aug 13 2006 at 2:13 AM Rating: Good
No, I bet if you can't make the live draft you will just get the next highest ranked player off of the pre-made list. I'm not exactly planning on making the draft myself, so I switched some things around hoping to get a good team.
