hehe

I also usually thumb-nail my front teeth at such things.. but

Twice I have seen something... maybe three times...

Once.. I was sitting on my coffee table playing Mario 64 and I looked out my front door to the left and noticed a golden coloured thing in the sky.
Two other people saw it as well. This was broad daylight. I don;t think that it was an airplane or anything because of the way that it was moving. It was doing the traditional UFO thing of flying back and forth in erratic patterns. Then it was gone.

Second time.... I was outside with a friend (a very agnostic and logical friend). Funny thing about this is that we had just eaten mushrooms.
ANYway.. We were outside smoking a cigarette and HE says.. "What's that?" and points high in the sky. This was one of those cloudy yet starry nights... So I see a tiny pin-point thing flying around in an erratic behaviour.... back and forth..... making turns of varying degrees.. which an airplane could never do.
I then saw a second one. They would disappear and reappear... they would appear beneath the clouds and then above them.
As soon as I pointed out the second one andstarting commenting on it.. I suddenly turn flushed white and nearly passed out where I stood.... so without saying a word I ran into his house, knocked over several things, and proceded to collapse on his couch... where about his cats then stood around me like WTF? staring at me..... at this point..I'll just sat the rest was all the shrooms....
Either way, we both saw them. we both agree that is was not any conventional aircraft.

The third time... I was like 11-ish and was staying on a small island in the middle of the Chesapeake Bay called Tangier Island Sound. I decided to go sleep in the pine forest on the side of the island. I was laying there for hours just staring at the sky...
I saw about 5-10 glowing balls fly overhead. They were thick and they were definalty luminous. I cannot tell how far up they were... but I THINK I may have heard a "whoosh" noise as they flew overhead.. but that may have been in my mind.... but they came in groups...
I would think meteor shower.. but these things didn't have a tail or streak at all.
Ball lightning? I've never heard of ball lightning reoccuring over many minutes like this.

Who the fuck knows?

anyway, haave fun

And your sure it was a cigarette and not the mushrooms?

Anyway, that does sound rather bizzare, and like you said, definentely not something any normal aircraft could possibly do, but it could have been an optical illusion or mostly in your mind. Or some top secret government project. Who knows..

First you can't figure out evolution and now you are seeing UFOs. Are you sure you aren't some midwest redneck farmer?

I was generally refering to the incident that your friend saw as well, but to the others, but you say the first one other people saw, and if it isn't some kind of illusion that it is indeed an Unidentified Flying Object.. Although what it really is, is the interesting part.

My brother swears he has seen UFOs. Apparently he and his friends saw:

Red and blue glowing, triangular shaped objects (about the size of a car), darting back and forth across an open field in Montana. He said they were only about 20 feet up in the air. There were ten of them and they looked as if they were playing chase or something.

He knows a lot about planes so I believe him when he says they weren't conventional. He's a pretty smart dude, but he also watches Nascar...so who knows...?

Smiley: lol
That would be if I was denouncing evolution and getting abducted by UFOs.

being that it was Montana, I would first blame that on some hidden government base testing new aircraft. I live on the outskirts of a major city. If I saw hese things and lived in the midwest, I would probably just pawn everything off on the government.

Waht's funny.. is that lots of people will say that they are sure that there must be other life on other planets.. ect.. but are usually the biggest skeptics.

Personally.. I choose not to make a desision about it either way.
It is just something that I saw that I have no explaination for waht it ould have been.. other than aliensSmiley: laugh

Based on waht I know... aliens WOULD be the most logical thing to conclude wouldn't it? I would call it aliens before I thought I was hallucinating.
Although.. concidering that no one has EVER been able to prove anything about aliens... maybe that wouldn't be logical....
But it still is;t logical to conclude that they were secret aircraft.. especially the one in broad daylight over the city....

I just do not know.

They could've been UFOs, how knows?

People would have to be incredibly stupid to say that there are no such thing as extraterrestrial beings. As far as we know, the universe goes on forever. It would be pretty conceited to say we're the only intelligent lifeforms in the universe, and from what we're doing to our planet we're obviously not that intelligent.

I honestly hope there are other beings out there. The single lifeforms in an ever-expanding and never-ending universe? Makes you feel immensly small.

Hope there are "aliens," and that we get to meet some in my lifetime.

I had a friend who would pull his ******* out of his pants and show people...all the while proclaiming they were his "Martian Brains!"

I guess aliens really do exist.

I've seen the same hallucination that my friend was seeing while on shrooms. This is especially true after the moment of suggestion.

Well, oddly enough, I have. Sort of.

I was about 6 years old, It was a late summer evening, I was playing out in the back yard. It was just starting to get dark, and I was playing in my sandbox building an explodeing sandbox volcano with the assistance of the hose. I heared a whirring sound, like a really slow flaying airplane, only deeper sounding. I look up in the air, and I see this huge *** silver cigar shape with 16 rectangular windows all light different colors on the bottom.

I have no idea what the hell this is, so I run and get my parents to come look at the aliens!

After they got done laughing their asses off at me, they explained that the object was in fact a passenger blimp in the area for the rose festival air show.

A few years later I got to see another blimp, I think it was one of the goodyear ships, land at Portland international airport. I've also seen the ships over at the tilamook blimp hanger too, but that's besides the point.

Supposedly my mother-in-law saw a UFO on her farm one summer night a few decades ago. When the family went out to look at her behest, they discovered in the field where it had landed the grass had burned and was still smoldering in three circular spots equi-distant from each other, spaced approximately 25 feet apart. The UFO had small bright white lights along a fuselage that appeared cigar shaped. It landed from about 30 seconds and then took off at an enormous rate of speed straight up.

To the best of my knowledge via other family member stories, she wasn't on shrooms scaring her cats by shining flashlights through her husband's ******* or whipping out her pudenda and claiming it was her Martian brain, but who knows?

I'd still like to know waht this is all about.

Here is the article headline in the LA Times archive(I'm not purchasing it)

LATimes wrote:
The spectacular anti-aircraft barrage came after the 14th Interceptor
Command ordered the blackout when strange craft were reported over the coastline.
Powerful searchlights from countless stations stabbed the sky with brilliant probing
fingers while anti-aircraft batteries dotted the heavens with beautiful, if sinister,
orange bursts of shrapnel.
