Personally I side with a little of all of you on this one. The French have had some devastating losses that boggle the mind, however they do have some very nice areas to hang out. On a day to day basis how well someone can destroy the other doesn't really matter. Yes there was some hilarious things that happend. Like the wall the french built that the germans walked around... Or the British destroying the fleet of French ships so the germans couldn't capture them. However that doesn't change the fact that their Pastry shops are to die for. The freshness of their bakery's are almost second to none. They live their lives gathering as much pleasure out of this life as possible.

All the countries in this world have had redundantly stupid defeats... Like the Spanish armada was the largest fleet of ships and the most expensive... and was the biggest waste as well. Read up on your history and you might find that although the french are the easiest to pick out of the crowd. Plenty of countries have had their fair share of crap happen.
