We can do a Asylum NC the week of July 7-13 in and around Wilmington or F'tteville if it works out for you. I'm heading out there to visit a couple of SpecOps buddies from days of yore.
Gimme a post if it's possible. Be advised, the better half would be accompanying me, so you taking a shower and using deoderant would be nice, especially if you've just finished gym class.

Ok, if anybody is interested it's looking like this coming Monday will be a good day to meet up for lunch/coffee/whatever. I'll leave it to Taco to choose a suitable location (hopefully not the Lumbee Indian rez) for an Asylum NC to take place. I'll bring a camera and a wife, but no poodles. They're staying in Cali with my neighbor.
As we get closer, I'll contact Taco by phone, most likely on Friday or Saturday for a specific time/place/menu and hopefully he'll be able to relay that here for any others who might be inclined to show up. If not, I suspect it'll be a purple-nurple and light-your-farts-fest type of occasion.

I'm flying in there, but we'll be traveling to Fayette Nam as soon as we pick up the 'Stang we're renting (the wife wants to give it test drive). Our schedule is going to be spending the weekend with our friends, Monday and Tuesday do some sightseeing, Wednesday and Thursday more visiting with the friends, Friday fly back to Cali.

Raleigh....wilmington...I am good either way. Of course I know wilmington much better than anywhere else due to the fact that it is my home and I have lived here my whole life.

how far is Wilmington from Raleigh? I hear about Wilmington a lot when I've been down there, but as I havent been there yet, I dont know its distance.

Get on 1-40 and go east. When I-40 ends you are in wilmington. Its about an hour and a half. If you ever want to do a day trip to the beach let me know. I can help you avoid the local crap holes.

oh heh. Market is still stagnant. We just reduced our price yesterday by quite a bit and Ih ad my realtor call the last few people who "loved the house" but were still looking to let them know. Im keeping my fingers crossed
