On the one hand, Hamas seems closer to recognising Israel, albeit implicitly:

However, a Hamas member who helped negotiate the agreement, Ziyad Dayeh, said Hamas support for a two-state solution was nothing new for Hamas.
"When talking about a Palestinian state in the occupied territories of 1967, it means there would be another state on the other part of Palestine. It means, yes, practically, a two-state solution, and it's not a new thing - it has been offered by Sheikh Ahmed Yassin before," he said.

On the other, Israel is launching the tanks in Gaza, and capturing a third of their governement:
Quote:
Israel arrested one-third of the Palestinian cabinet on Thursday, moving against the Hamas-led government while preparing to expand a military offensive into Gaza to free a soldier abducted by militants.
Hundreds of Palestinian gunmen wielding automatic rifles and anti-tank weapons took up positions waiting for Israeli forces to open a second front in the northern Gaza Strip, a day after tanks and infantry pushed into the south of the territory.
