Recently there has been some wicked weather in different parts of the country. I blame the South, others blame La Niña or El Niño. Regardless found a nifty page over on Fark that I am sure some of you have seen before

Hmmm...we have had a drought here in Mississippi. It has rained one day in June, almost two weeks ago now. It isn't ever even cloudy.
those are some beautiful shots. As long as Im inside, I absolutely love lightning. But I've been known to stay in the car or not leave a place if it meant I had to go outside during a Thunder storm
The other night Joph and I were watching some TV and we heard loud booming outside. I could have sworn it was the kiddies down the block with their smuggled Indiana fireworks, but it turns out it was thunder. It was the loudest, most beautiful storm. I do love how open the sky can be out here, but I was glad I was indoors.
