85-100%: Welcome to the United States! (And, truth be told, you know more about this great land than most Americans.)

100% actually but, to be fair, I just took "History of the United States 1600-1865". So the Founding Father style answers were all fresh on my brain.

Missed the which amendment does not address voting rights.

I'm male and white. What do I care about other people's voting rights?

95% Missed the one about the form for naturalization.

Also, just a side note, I thought the stripes were the original 13 colonies...not states...

It sort of struck me as odd that a new citizen should have to know a pile of US History to become a citizen. I'd expect a more useful quiz:

1) Have you ever waged Jihad on anyone?
2) Do you have a penchant for strapping explosived to your person?
3) How would you finish this sentence: If I ever met the President of the USA in person, I would _____________________________.
4) True or False: I can understand English well enough to complete this quiz.
5) True or False: I plan to live on welfare and foodstamps because the US owes me.
6) How many people have you ever killed/maimed/molested outside of military service?

$10 says that it was the "Which year was the Constitution signed", and Samira put down 1776.

My mouse pointer was hovering over that answer for a little while before I was like "Wait a minute..."

Oh hell no, they weren't about to trick me with that one.

It was one of the ones on Constitutionally guaraneed freedoms. I can't fathom why I missed it.

I missed the original 13 states, I knew that I wouldn't know the answer and didn't even read the choices enough to make a good guess.

The other one I missed was the chief justice of the supreme court. Apparently I picked Gonzales which is surprising to me because I actually knew the answer Smiley: confused

I missed the one about when the Constitution was written and the # of Supreme Court justices. I never did know much about SCOTUS.

The real problem is that MSNBC is just giving away immigration test questions and answers thus allowing any number of brown people to pass the test and waltz right on into America where they'll start voting Catholic or something.

We need to try MSNBC for treason!

Not really.

The new citizenship IS being hosted by MSNBC. All you need is a hotmail.com account and an Internet connection. It's easier that getting a driver's license!

Edit: Word switcheroo. Good thing English wasn't a major or a minor.
