I have always been one for long, drawn out relationships back to back. Somehow, from age 13 or so, I have always been with one guy or another, and the relationships have lasted anywhere from 1 year to 3. I guess after the 4th one or so I lost my virginity, and from then on I slept with every boyfriend, but they were all these lengthly, emotional relationships, so to me it was ok.

I broke up with this one guy whom I had lived with for a year, and it was very hard on me. I was just out of basic training, and there were plenty of hot army guys to choose from. I had a few flings, and every single one felt so weird. I didn't exactly regret it afterward, but during I just focused on how uncomfortable it was instead of having a good time. I had trouble until I met my husband, and even though that relationship moved very fast I never felt uncomfortable with him for a second.

Long story short, I agree with you Flea, heh.

Consistency...consistency...consistency. I didn't get where I'm at by changing my mind every other day; like some liberals I know. BTW the insurance industry is great.

All of your posts are starting to read in Zoidberg's voice in my head now. That one worked particularly well with the avatar, too.

Dead on!

Looks are more important than people realize sometimes. It's that FIRST IMPRESSION of a person that you get from the way they dress, smell, feel, etc, that makes you want to know more about them.

I've never had a one night stand: A) Because I suck @ picking up teh ladies (my micro aint' strong enough) and B) Because I'd much rather have a relationship, and college girls, generally, don't seem to want that.

I'd rather see a girl from across the room, be like, "oh, she's quite beautiful" and then go over and talk to her to get to know her. Problem is, more often than not, I'm so nice to them I get in the friends zone faster than I can realize it, and then I'm stuck.
