It's supposed to reach 33 in the next few days, and I'm already cooking at 29.

The only thing getting me through the day is iced tea baby.
#28REDACTED, Posted: Jun 26 2006 at 4:32 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Seriously? It's that temp even in the summer? I may need to look into that. I'd love the extended riding season, but won't put up with really hot summers.

This is California, it's - I don't know - 70 something degrees like it always is.

Heh, depends largely on where you live... I live in Cali too and it is going to be 108 today. Well according to the forcast, we'll see what it actually gets to, but it is already close to 100 outside on my back patio. (which isn't in direct sun)

I live near the ocean, or near enough anyway to make no difference. You morans who live in Bakersfield or Riverside or wherever need to break away and form your own state of stupidity.

Am living in this part of California by order of the military. Trust me, if I had a choice, I'd be back in Pacific Beach or Coronado.

You can come move in with me. My mom already said it was okay for me to have friends over and I think she'd be more happy that it was a girl this time.

Holy ****.....I'm climatized to the PNW. In my youth this 88 degree weather would be considered long john and winter jacket weather. However I watched my left nipple melt off this afternoon.....at 88 degrees.

It usually stays around triple digits here even at two in the morning. But since it's a cloudy night tonight, it's down to 90.

sorry, I already shipped them to Kao, express mail, no doubt. Looks like my sunny weather finally returned.

I kid you not its been so wet here this week, I stopped doing laundry when the dryest I could get them was dewey feeling. I have vet records lying out for my pets on my kitchen island and within 2 hours they felt damp. Fortunately I just got an email that we have another house showing this evening so my fingers are crossed

Holy hell, DSD, does it ever stop raining over there? Smiley: mad

G'luck on selling the house. It's painfully obvious now why you're willing to part with it.

In the Central Valley in California last Sunday, it was a horrible 112ºF. Monday wasn't much better. I spent the last 2 days in the swimming pool, as often as humanly possible.

Hotter than Hades here. And getting much hotter this week.

It's so much fun keeping a toddler indoors.

Grrr.

Get one of those turtle kiddie pools, soak em in there, then you jump in a sip maragaritas and other cool drinks.

I'm afraid to see what kind of bugs, not to mention the size, would land in my kiddie pool.

/gulp
