I was watching a video of a Jethro Tull concert from 1970 and it struck me that I had seen Ian Anderson somewhere else. Then it struck me. Danalog. I know there is a better one for Danalog that this one that shows the hair too, but it was the only one I could find on short notice. Check out the resemblence.

Makes me wonder if Danalog's mother was a fan. Smiley: wink2

A Tull reference and a Danalog burn wrapped in a Mom joke.

Well played!

I'm shocked (and delighted) that anyone here knows who Anderson/Tull is!
Isle of Wight Festival?

Yeah Isle of Wight. I saw Tull live about 20 years ago. I really went to see Emerson Lake and Palmer, which I loved, and Tull was the other act touring with them. It turned out I liked Tull better in concert. I love watching a concert where the band takes a song you know and just jams off of it. As a musician myself, the coolest concerts are ones where they let the band members just improvise and spin the music in whatever direction they are feeling that night.

Nobby-Rack tm that!

(and a shameful memory that I spent 10 years of my life effecting the Anderson look after first seeing 'em live in '74 - for shame!)

Although Anderson's voice is pretty shot these days, the band is as tight as ever (saw em for about the 15th time a few months back). And as Ian's voice gets weaker, he plays more flute! Yay!

Catch 'em in US in July/August

The best thing is that now they're no longer selling out Madison Square Garden for a week, they play more intimate venues, and the last few gigs a few of us enjoyed a pint and a curry with Mr A and the lads after the gig. He seems to enjoy hanging out with fans post-gig these days.

Even if you're not au-fait with their stuff, try to go. It's an experience.

This either means that Danalog is 20 years out of style, or on the cusp of a new breaking one! (Since style seems to repeat itself in time).

How? Did you get a perm? Grow your pubes long and paste them to your scalp? DSD can back me up on this, but from what I've seen of your locks, their texture is more Tom Cruise circa Last Samurai than Jethro Tull.
