Is that the gay rodeo?

Do you go to rodeos often? I'm a bit of a cowboy myself.

Guess it's better than being a bit of a bridle.

This is Blue Rodeo. In no way are they affiliated with blue movies. However, there may be a few made at the concert being at the beach and all.

The ****** in the dark sun-glasses, has the same haircut as Smash.

They are a crew of old stoners, but damned if they don't have good music.

They are not pigeon holed into one specific category. They are a melange of music styles: pop, rock, country, folk, ballads, alternative and jazz-blues.

Similar to the Tragically Hip in some respects. (Canadians will know what I mean.)

Speaking of, REO Speedwagon is playing at the Naperville Ribfest next weekend!

I can't see the name REO Speedwagon these days without thinking of Jim Anchower.

They met in a hurricane,
standing in the shelter,

she tucked a note into his hand.

Later on they took his car,
Drove on down where the beaches aaaaare,
He wrote her name in the sand.
Never even let go of her hand.

Somehow they stayed that way,
For those 5 days in May,
Made all the stars around them shine...
