Anyone can be for or against something. It seems you guys need to return to school and learn how to read properly. You even quoted the statement, and didn't get it right. My opinion on the matter is this: IF YOU HAVEN'T BEEN IN COMBAT, DON'T PLAY POLITICS WITH WAR. People die when you mix the two. You can be for, or against war. Not my problem. Just don't start banging the drum one way or the other for the sake of politics. By all means, have an opinion, just have something besides CBS News "facts" to back it up.

As far as soldiers running things, WWII and Korea come to mind. MacArthur, Patton, Eisenhower. All soldiers that lead.
