Question: Has anyone ever met a politician at the federal level that wasn't a crook? That includes democrats and republicans. And as far as the intellegence, agencies all over the world had the same intelegence, they just don't want to admit it now.

Looking from the outside you would say fighting this war is usless. just a wase of lives, but when you say these words. You say them without meaning, just trying to prove a point. But they are human beings out there dieing people you love fighting not for our politics or our government, or oil or money. but for there lives and the lives of those who stand next to them on the battle field. And for the confort you feel when yopu go to sleep at night knowing a bomb wont drop on you head.

that is exactly why over half this country, and the majority of the rest of the world are absolutly pissed about this war.
they are not fighting and dieing to save us. iraq is not now, nor ever was a threat to us. they are dieing because some piece of sheit politician thought they should and for no other reason.
their lives ARE being wasted.
that entire country is not worth the life of a single one of our soldiers. not a single one. on the other hand, i would gladly give eveyr piece of sheit politician a weapon and put them on the front line. mabe then they would really understand what a waste of human potential any war is.
half this country is realy pissed about the waste of OUR people on a pissant third world hell hole. the other half is just stareing at fox news taking every word some piece of sheit politician tells them as ghospel and waiving the party flag like a bunch of lemmings with blinders on.
and those are just OUR troops you saw. haw many iraqi famileys have been butchered because some piece of sheit politician half a word away thought they should? if they want freedom, let THEM fight for it. if they dont want it that bad, let THEM live with it.
we have turned a once functioning country into a terrorist training ground breeding emenies faster than we can kill them. WE did this. WE did it because a majority of us BELIEVED what a piece of sheit politician told us to believe without EVER seeing a single piece of evidience to support it, nor demanding any.

To make my position clear: I support our actions in Afghanistan. I don't agree with our invasion of Iraq. I support our troops both places unless they are committing atrocities. If that gets me called a cnut and rated down, then so be it...

Anyone can be for or against something. It seems you guys need to return to school and learn how to read properly. You even quoted the statement, and didn't get it right. My opinion on the matter is this: IF YOU HAVEN'T BEEN IN COMBAT, DON'T PLAY POLITICS WITH WAR. People die when you mix the two. You can be for, or against war. Not my problem. Just don't start banging the drum one way or the other for the sake of politics. By all means, have an opinion, just have something besides CBS News "facts" to back it up.

As far as soldiers running things, WWII and Korea come to mind. MacArthur, Patton, Eisenhower. All soldiers that lead.
