I'm too lazy to find the other thread(s). Do we have a month yet? I kinda have to plan ahead.

I vote for spring-fall. Driving can be a crapshoot nightmare during the winter in these parts.

Well hell, I have no desire to go to Chicago in the winter anyway, not exactly a vacation for me. I thought it was tentatively planned for the summer, but fall would be cool too. I'm not entirely sure I'd be able to swing spring, but who knows at this point.

someone give me a job

They will stab you in the face if you look at them wrong. But you can easily make ammends by buying one of their crappy "Homeless Times" newspapers for a buck.

Make it early spring or late winter and I'll be there! We are buying an RV this week so travel will not be an issue.

Holy crap you are a pansy. You should move to Florida with all of the other old people.

As for available months, I'm good for anytime.

I think that we all decided that August '07 was the best time. We never really set a weekend though, since DF kept talking about August '06, and things went downhill from there.

Any time of year, I'm in.

August '07 might be doable.

Also the Chicago travel guide recommends that you bring your own knife when visiting. That way when confronted by a vagrant bagel you can offer it your knife to stab you with, thus avoiding the probability of getting stabbed in the face by a bagel with a hepatitis tainted blade.

Huh. I thought this was going to be a Chicagoan version of Commie China's Gang of Four. Shows what I know. Yeah, I realise that maybe only one or two of you have even the faintest clue as to what I am refering to.

One suspects there would have to be some sort of jousting contest to decide.
