Sounds like WOW has a immature player base. Seriously I have never heard of anythin like that in eq1 or eq2. Only thing I ever noticed is sometimes a female charactor would get handed free stuff, but I think that has kinda phased out. Lonely desperate nerds have figured out plenty of female charactors are actually fat hairy guys on the other end.

But me personally? I just say so what: Oh, you're a girl, playing a video game?!?!?! Meh, so what. Your gender has nothing to do with the fact that you play this game, and even pwn people. You're just another player in a mmorpg world.
In my guild, there's this woman that plays, along with her significant other, and they're both pretty damn cool. But there was a recent member added that has virtually latched on to her. Everytime she's on, boom, there he is. I have ripped on her so many times about it too, lol.
But yes, it is very sad how women are treated just for being gamers. The jerk offs that are angry at the fact that women are as good or better than them, these people are sexist retards. And then there are the depraved individuals that have to hit on and try to get some kind of sexual favor from you, they just need to grow up. But you shouldn't let it get to you. To the jerk offs, just ignore them. To the depraved souls, they ... just need to get a life, outside of games.

i'm going to have to deal with some of that **** soon, my girlfriend and her best friend love watching me play and i'm going to pick them up a copy soon and get them into my guild so i can show them the ropes.
