I'm taking this time to do a little bragging.

I'm packed and ready to go. I leave tomorrow morn at 5:30 for LAX. I will be arriving in Honolulu 5 1/2 hours later. We lucked out too. The couple we are traveling with had a hook up. 12 days in a time share that his grandparents own for free. We are staying on the island of Kauai. Supposedly, it has zero night life. Unlike Oahu, Kauai lacks a huge populous. It’s named the wet island and plays host to one of the most gorgeous coastlines in the world, the Napali Coastline. So instead of hittin’ the clubs, I’ll be doing what a vacation in paradise is meant for, relaxation.

Anyone else have any plans for the summer?

Where to? Don't tell me Nobby's bed either! Unless by 10 days you meant, 10 short glorious minutes.

You are going on vacation to hawaii to relax and do nothing? You can take a day off work, tell your significant other to stfu for the day, and lean back in your recliner.

A vacation is for high energy, still being drunk when you wake up, and doing things you will regret. That's a vacation.

That was vacation when I turned 21. My priorities are a little different now.

Next time we go to Hawaii, it will be on Kauai.

Ohau was fun, but next time we'll be looking for something must lower key.

Lucky. I spend my Sundays pushing a f[Aliceblue][/Aliceblue]ucking mower in stifling heat and working on the honey-do list.

Oh, I plan to go to the new Ikea as well...probably in two or three weeks.

I haven't been employed since before Christmas. I've been told that these past six months are my vacation. Now that the girlfriend is away, I can actually enjoy it! Smiley: grin

Yea I was gonna say that. But still. I hope you are going for practically free. Cuz that would be an expensive relaxation otherwise.

Isn't every day a vacation when you smoke copious amounts of ganja?

I'm going on a vacation to meet my wife's relatives in up-state NY.

I just bought a Nintendo DS Lite to be prepared for this, as most of them don't even have computers. However, the screen on the DS is defective and I'm trying to find a replacement before I leave in 10 days.

Recommend good games if you've got em.

I absolutely loved Kauai!

The sea comes from the south during the summer, so surf on south snorkel in the north right now.

Tunnels(bring a diving light), Anini and Ke'e were my favorite spots for being underwater. On the way to Ke'e you can hit the blue room. Very cool to see when the tide is right.

Definitely jealous of your stay in paradise. Smell some plumeria and tell those roosters to f'uck off for me.

I'm enjoying the new SMB and Brain Age. I'll probably get Tetris soon too.

I wouldn't say I smoke copious amounts, daily. Maybe half a bowl, or a hit or two, at a time to maintain a nice moderate buzz. That's more for stress and anxiety (other than the stress and anxiety of being a self-hating pothead).

Wherezat? I'm in extreme upstate NY right now, and within the next two weeks I'll be moving back to slightly upstate NY.

I don't enjoy mowing my lawn, it's large and very steep. My mower died when I was halfway done Sunday, so I'll be tinkering with it tonight to try to get it to run again. I suspect an oil change is in order.

I'll be in London, Paris, and Rome during the first two weeks of July.

So yeah, I'll be celebrating American Independence Day where everyone hates America.
