I rented 3 movies this weekend.

1. Cheaper by the Dozen II A decent family film. Steve Martin is still a genius, I don't care what anyone says. This one was a great follow up to the first, and a very good family film. If you're looking for a wholesome movie, it's worth a look. The only disappointing factor was how bad Hillary Duff looked since she went on the Hollywood diet. Sorry, but that girl needs to eat a pizza now and then.

2. BloodRayne I didn't even know they made this one till I saw it at the video store. Most of you probably recognize the title from the video game. It stars the gal from Terminator 3. There was two good features to this flick:

a. There's a sex seen where the lead actress shows her bewbs. Sorry, but she's hot, especially as a red-head.

b. There's a lot of gruesome scenes with people getting cut up with swords, the best is where they get stabbed in the face with swords. Those shots make me laugh.

Other than that, it's got weak acting, horrible directing, and could have been done much better. The story-line wasn't bad, it's just that as it came together it felt forced and didn't have enough continuity. If you played the game it's worth a look just out of principle, otherwise don't bother unless you want to see Kristanna Loken's tits.

3. Underworld Evolution It was decent. Seeing Kate Beckinsdale get nearly naked is almost worth the rental fee. The story line is decent. The only problem I had was the special effects when the head vampire Marcus is trying to attack Serena and Michael while driving a large truck down the road. The special effects were poorly done for that particular sequence. Or maybe it was just me. Of course you don't get to see any of Kate's funbits since her husband is the director, but despite that it's still not a bad flick to watch. Worth a rental on a dull night at least.

I thought the first Underworld was much better. The sequel was pretty dissapointing. I swear I think film companies just throw sequels together for a fast buck, because they know they already have a fan base established from the first movie. Don't get me wrong some sequels are great, but I think those are in the minority.

Wow, what a fucking epiphany! Man, it's like the first time I really 'got' Ulysses. Bless your heart. I'll never be fooled into thinking that Rocky 6 will be 6 times better than Rocky. It never occured to me that the number wasn't just a goodness multiplier.

Damn you Smasharoo. Damn you to hell!

I was looking forward to "Return to the Son of Police Academy LXVII rides again - the sequel" and you've ruined it all.

Meddling kids!

Ms. Danes? I know nothing of T3, but she seemed to be doing alright in Shopgirl.

The movie itself was no great shakes but Claire seemed to be holding up.

Oh, was she the evil terminator? My bad, you said redhead so my mind went straight to Claire Danes.

She looked a bit rough in T3. Maybe that was intentional, perhaps they didn't want her to look to "movie star"ish and take away from Kristanna Loken's hotness. To be fair she didn't look bad, she looked older. I still remember her from movies like Romeo and Juliet.

While she looks cute with angel wings, I Smiley: inlove chicks with guns. Especially redheads!

Hi. Claire Danes is blonde. Her hair is occasionally dyed red.

No sh[black][/black]it. Make that "usually" though - it's really obvious when you can see the almost purple-ish tint.

Doesn't matter, though. It's not like X-Files is any less watchable because Gillian Anderson isn't really a redhead either.
