Since I freak out if the least little thing is wrong with me, I envy your confidence about your health. I do not, however, envy you for having let it go this long.
Well if you couldn't pay for an emergency room visit I doubt you'll be able to afford a prosthetic leg.
Shame, really, I still have to do research on swinging a golf club with a fake leg. Anyone else up to it? Great way to lose some weight real quick!

Sassy have you tried going to a public hospital? At least at the hospital I work at we have a community clinic that provides cheap or free healthcare for those that need it.
