Rome lost battle after battle - tens of thousands of men dead - whole legions lost - to Hannibal ---- but Rome never surrendered. Well, I said this in another thread, so someone's going to side-swipe me for bringing it up here. Anyway, Rome never gave up, and Rome won - Rome destroyed Carthage. Hannibal escaped to the Middle East and committed suicide far from home, a broken man, with Roman agents closing in on him. Not much changes.

Anyway, stamina is often the deciding variable, it seems. I could be wrong, but there's a strong case for this.

It means we get to hear the "un-safehouse" pun like ten million more times.
