I used WinME RC1 and RC2 during the beta. I thought it was great. When I installed the Final Build, it hosed my system.

yeah, someone brigs me their PC and says it has a problem. I see that it has Windows ME. "There's your problem!!" I was so convincing that he gave me his computer and bought a new one. He just wanted some old files off of it. Unfortuanlty the Partition was created with some 3rd party software that wouldn;t allow Windows explorer to brose the drive or assign it a drive letter.

Knoppix to the Rescue!!


Leave it to Linux to have utilities that fix Windows issues. Utilities that Windows doesn't even haveSmiley: lol If the entire OS wasn't run off of a RamDrive I'd probably just use that primarily.
