People used WinMe at all?

Times like this I like to go to / and do "chmod 777 *"

yeah, someone brigs me their PC and says it has a problem. I see that it has Windows ME. "There's your problem!!" I was so convincing that he gave me his computer and bought a new one. He just wanted some old files off of it. Unfortuanlty the Partition was created with some 3rd party software that wouldn;t allow Windows explorer to brose the drive or assign it a drive letter.

Knoppix to the Rescue!!


Leave it to Linux to have utilities that fix Windows issues. Utilities that Windows doesn't even have If the entire OS wasn't run off of a RamDrive I'd probably just use that primarily.
