Post something, damnit!

My supervisor isn't in and I'm bored out of my mind. I've gone over the same CAD file about 5 times now in a vain attempt to pretend that I have something to do.

There's a good mexican place that I think I'll go to for lunch. I've been planning out where I'm gonna eat for about an hour now...

Not really a fan of Mexican. I think I'd like Sushi, but I doubt any co-workers are gonna go for that.

Probably end up at a burger joint, which, all things considered, is fine by me.

Holy comma splice batman.

Pretty busy at work this morning, haven't had much time. I'm building up 3 new laptops and I have new user training in 30 minutes where I get to tell them not to download viruses and spyware by browsing ****. I estimate 2 weeks before I have to re-load one of their machines for doing that very thing.

If only they would use firefox and not be morons.

Also, I did do work, on some Java code for some plugin interfaces that my company is writing to access external data sources.

They're all done and ready to be wrapped in the plugin-wrapper. *Sigh*.

Bob bless Java.

Meh, better than being loaded down with about 16 hours worth of CAD work that your boss wanted yesterday. I have a 2 year old Dell to work with, which makes it excruciating.

I'm planning to move two offices, doing three employee reviews, acting as a dispatcher and fixing database errors. It's a testament to my multitasking skillz that I'm here at all.

25$?! For lunch? Thats bobdamn highway robbery! I pay about 16-20 dollars for more than I can eat in the nicest sushi place here, including tip.

Anything more than nine dollars (including tip) is an expensive lunch round these parts.

Bah, they're sending me out in the rain to do some field work at one of our other buildings. I suppose that's what I get for complaining about having nothing to do, eh?

If all your eating is Cali Rolls with immitation crab meat and various Maki rolls I could see this. My typical bill in a Sushi joint is rarely under $80. Smiley: frown

I honestly wouldn't even consider a $25/all you can eat establishment simply because I know if the quality was there they would be losing money. Either that or their selection would be horrid.
#26 Jun 07 2006 at 1:29 PM Rating: Good
You'd think for $25-80 they'd at least cook your damn food.

Why is it that everytime I read about sushi, all I can picture is this?
