I've been ignoring the news. If this has been discussed, forgive me - I looked but didn't see any threads on it (if I overlooked one, sorry).

Anyway, working here - someone had the news on in the background - and I heard snippets of "...planning to take over the Canadian parliament..." "...demand that Canada pull out of Afghanistan and start killing hostages one by one until..." and "...was to slice off the PM's head no matter what..."

I wasn't really listening to it - but then went HUH and did a classic, cartoonish double take.

So all you Canadians. You almost had a real life "Die Hard" on your hands there.

The worst part is one of the lawyers is already claiming that these arrests were made only to instill fear in the general population. I think he's being paid by the Liberal party.

Too bad they never got the chance to attack parliament. It would have helped Canada so much.
