I was called "Lucky" for years, reason unknown... thats just what i was given on my first ship by the "Daddy" of the mess and what he say goes.

I am now the "Daddy" of the mess and i give out the nicknames, which is nice Smiley: grin in my mess there are varied nicknames mainlybased on Surnames or place of birth...

Massive, Iffy, G, Brocks, Gabby, Tug(Wilson), Turkish, Julie(Andrews), Sparkie(Hughes), Gogsy are just some of the people i live alongside.

I'm not sure the Navy could be any gayer if they had "I love to have sex with other men!" tee shirts instead of uniforms.

To make a long story short, I don't take any responsibility for anything I post here. It's not news, it's not truth, it's not serious. It's parody. It's satire. It's bitter. It's angsty. Your mother's a *****. You like to jack off dogs. That's right, you heard me. You like to grab that dog by the bone and rub it like a ski pole. Your dad? Gay. Your priest? Straight. **** off and let me post. It's not true, it's all in good fun. Now go away.

Whoa, you, too? Smiley: tongue

Seriously, the ones that come to mind are:

Oggy - From my last name (SMoggy is the same with my first name initial and and middle name intial). My father had it as a kid, then my brother and I was Little Oggy, then in my teens I was Oggy. Used mostly around sports like baseball, football, swim team, and tennis.

************ - My wife's primary pet name for me. Usually when I'm a Rager of Roads Smiley: motz I used the Canadian version since I still have yet to figure out how to bypass the swear filter...

[b]Snorre
- I've become quite the snorer - due to having 4 cats (that I'm pretty much allergic to). Smiley: snore

One nickname that wasn't mine that stands out to me is one that a friend of mine in college had - he was a fairly obnoxious dude, so he was dubbed "Nipplehead" and it stuck with him for years. Good times...

Usually, people just call me by my last name, as Chris is fairly common.

In college I picked up "Ray Charles" on account of my transitions glassess. I also picked up "MD" (Mule ****) from the "package" I used to take to study every night. Most of my buddies picked up odd names there...

Slutpants
Suckabitch
Shame

I also knew two guys with last names "Acock" and "Hand" who were in another company, they were roomates. You'd be suprised how many variations of "****" are in last names.

When I was a senior there were two freshmen in my company, one who became "Booger" from his last name, another who was allergic to sunlight became "Sunshine". And "Hawk"... his last name was Hawk, but we used to get him to perch on the waterfountain and screech like one.

My dad calls me "Puddin' Head"...I have no idea so don't ask.
My brother calls me "Miss Perfect" because I got away with EVERYTHING when we were little.
I had the name Chipmunk one time and Uni in highschool because I had bushy eyebrows (I got rid of them).

Ay

The kids I used to babysit called me Rah-Rah, which I always thought was cute. Other than that, I don't really have a name that lends itself to nicknames. Sometimes people call me Laura, but that's a long story. I had plenty of nicknames in highschool that were related to being blonde, but thankfully those have been dropped since reaching adulthood.

Too damned many.

In primary school, I was the kid who started puberty before everyone else. I was called Flower after the skunk in Bambi (B.O. issues when I was a kid. Who knew 10 year olds needed deodorant?).

In high school I was called Reverand because I had a silver cross I always wore. I was also called Rhino, because I was on the school rugby team and, although I wasn't a fast runner, it took a good half-dozen players to take me down. I was also called Perilla Gorilla (play on my name & Magilla Gorilla) by some of the other players- mostly guys who didn't like me much. I still use Perilla as a handle.

When I got my first job, I was called Choker. There was a guy who always tried to goad me on (it was a liquor warehouse, lots of roughnecks), and I ended up picking him up by his neck and throwing him in a dumpster.

In Police, I was called Buddha. I am still not sure if that's because I tried to be calm and controlled all the time, I am Buddhist, or because I slowly grew Buddha's belly over several years.

Several of my friends call me Uncle B or just B. Someone threw it out one day, and it just stuck.

I haven't really gotten any nicknames that stick out that relate to my I.T. field.
