It's interesting listening to people complain about their jobs.
Ok, so your boss is a d
ick. The simple (and mature) solution to this is to talk to him/her about it. Don't think you're getting treated fairly with workload/breaks? If your boss isn't aware, then he'll never know. Ignorance is bliss. Is your boss still a d
ick after you talk to him? Quit, on the spot. I've done that twice and twice I've been called back before leaving his/her office. Both times I've received an apology and a promise that things will get better, and they both did.

"OMG my company is breaking the law by doing XXX and YYY"

. Simple solution is to only work what you're required to. Go in, do your 8 hours (or whatever you get paid for) to the best of your ability and go home. If you think they're breaking the law by requiring you do perform X task then call your local labor board and speak with someone about your rights. If they treat you differently because you do demand your rights then you have every right to sue.
["]"I'm getting paid way less than I'm worth"

. Once again this one is a no brainer; ask for more money! This is the exact situation at my current office and whenever someone has the balls to ask for more money they have received it 10/10 times. All the others just think it's easier to find another job that pays more. Seriously, grow a pair. If you're a good employee and truly think you deserve a raise you'll get it if you ask for it.

"I can't get any time off"
![Smiley: cry](//zam.zamimg.com/i/smilies/cry.gif)
. That's a shame. Fact is (at least in my province) you have every right by law to claim your vacation time as time off. Book it off and if they 'cancel it' after approving it you have every right to tell them that you will be taking it anyways. If they never approve any vacation time, then you have every right to take the last x weeks (however many you get) of the year off and get paid for it.
That said there are, of course, really good reasons that you may want to quit. One example is the classic 'this isn't really what I want to do'. Fair enough, just don't come crying to me when you jump from job to job every 3 months. The whole rebound job is also a good reason to quit, but if this is meant to be a 'rebound job' then why would you care so much about it? Personally on a rebound job I will go in, work my shift to the best of my ability and go home and continue the job hunt until I find something better. Once I have the new job in my pocket I give my notice and call it a job well done. It seems like this started as a rebound but you ended up caring about it too much.
Take a step back from your job. Realize that employers will bend over backwards for good employees so don’t ever sell yourself short. The last job I worked that I really cared about screwed me hardcore in the end so I've learned my lesson. I still go in and do a great job, I just remain more objective to what's actually going on.
Sorry if this sounded like a bit of a rant. Recently it seems that everyone I know (in RL and on teh interwebs) never knows to do about employment when the obvious is staring them right in the face.
EDIT: Who knew that d
ick translated to ****.
