Never woulda expected people on a board like this being ok with companies like Microsoft patenting things which have been in the common domain.

Me either. Be sure to inform us when it happens.

I on the other would absolutely expect someone to make wild leaps of inlogic in an attempt to argue something and save face when he's drowining badly to the point of just being ignored shortly.

Wow what gaps in such simplistic logic.

How are children suppose to learn at their own pace when they are being taught remotly all at once. On top of that you want to neuter the top .01% of the teachers. Those types of teachers are good because they are hands on. They work with their students, which is something they wont have time for when they are teaching thousands at once. What a great way to make a good teacher below average, why not just let Big Bird teach highchool while you are at it.

Then there is the enforcemnt of it, the honor society will stay at their current level while every other child gets left behind. If they are going at their own pace, when ever they dont apply them selves their pace just slows down even more.

Then you have the missing social interactions what come with your dreaded peer pressure and bullies. Just what we need even more idiots that never learnt to grow up as a child because they were sheltered their whole life.

The part about you wanting a capitalist health system, but no patents, and it is going to be better, yeah right. Peoplw by nature are selfcentered, just spending 1 minute reading these boards proves it. Most people are not going to invent something unless they have a stake in it. Dont agree? just start listing off works of man that they did not have a stake in, and I am sure it can be countered many times over.

I also dont see how health care can be truly capitalistic. There is no supply and demand balance to it. People need healthcare, they dont demand it. Yes people can go without going to the docter, but there are things out of their control that can take them their. If you dont want to smoke, you dont have pick up the cigarette. If you dont want to buy gas, dont drive. If you are in an accident they ship you off to the hospital, while you are bleeding your life away.

Hmmm maybe the same way people all read a book at their own pace. We'll have online hooked on phonics for you, and you can go through the lesson again and again, until you get it, reading feedback from your peers, saved explanations, etc.

Nice try moron. If supply and demand didn't exist there wouldn't be prices, there wouldn't be doctor salaries, medical supplier profits, costs of procedures, etc. That statement shows exactly how clueless you are. Supply is balanced by competition. A doctor can't arbitrarily set his salary at 100M a year because there are other doctors competing for business.

Quote:
People need healthcare, they dont demand it.

People need food too, and they demand it. You're a total idiot. Food has prices in the supermarket, at the fast food restaurant, at the cattleranch, and all throughout the chain. Prices signal what people want, and producers respond to those prices satisfying demand.

Oh so somebody is pointing a gun at the doctor's head when she's operating on a car crash patient? If supply and demand doesn't exist in the health care system what would happen if you capped doctor salaries at $1 a year? That's right stupid, people wouldn't become doctors for $1 a year salaries. Supply and demand exists totally throughout the healthcare system. You are a clueless fool.

I noticed you took one line, and not the part about getting the kids to actually do that. I already pointed out at their own pace doesnt work, nice reading comprehension. I still can't believe you think your idea would work, educational TV has been out for years, and you still have to force kids to watch it over MTV, or leaving to hang out with friends.

Oh yeah use the food industry, that it even more government directed then the medical industry, as your example. It is amazing that you have never heard that the government provides subsidies to get them to produce what they want, and for how much. Plus the fact that any idiot can grow their own food, they do not have to buy it, but it is amazing that when I am dying from an accident I cant operate on myself.

Where did I ever say anything about caping what a docter gets paid, in fact your the one arguing about them getting paid less not me. Also, about pointing a gun at the docters head, how are they suppose to that you are not demanding medical treatment, but they are going to supply medical treatment and a bill anyway.

Let's see, moron, idiot, stupid, and fool. Wow for someone crying about the violance that a passive patent does, you sure are agressive, hostile, and violent. Nice to see how much of a hypocrit you are, you just gotta love swinging that bat at those that disagree with you dont you. I will come back to this thread for the laugh, but you have proved how lttle you actually know, and are really only worth laughing at.

I love how casually MonxDot flings around words like "moron" when responding to posts that are in no way flames. You'd almost think that, unless he somehow forces the assumption that his opponent is stupid into the equation, his arguments are insupportable.

How 'bout "No Health Care for Communist Teachers"?

Works for me.

Don't kid yourselves and think if 2 men on an island vote to have sex with 1 woman on an island against her will that that is not any less rape than if they just raped her without voting. The action of rape is violent.

In exactly the same way, if you vote to take someone else's money, that is no less not theft than if you just go into a bank and use a gun as your ATM card. The action of theft is violent.

That's just prettied up sentence dressing, something this thread and this board is full of, not just by me. Points are either right or wrong, correct or incorrect, no matter if they're served with no sauce, served with mild sauce, or served with hot sauce. How was I supposed to know you wouldn't like getting served with the mild sauce?

And how is it not a flame when you publicly call for "universal health care"? By definition you want to use government violence to enforce that "universal health care", and that would have consequences of lowering quality, increasing price, and instituting RATIONING denying people from using their own money to receive health care. Maybe you're ok with telling 70 and 80 year olds their money is no good and they can 'F off and die. But I have ethical qualms about that ...

Next time put in a disclaimer stating that your feelings are sensitive.

I didn't say my feelings were sensitive. I said that your liberal use of words intended to impugn the intelligence of those who disagree with you are a flat-out tell. They basically testify that your position is weak, that you KNOW it's weak, and that you are covering up for that weakness by trying to make it appear your opponent is somehow intellectually deficient. You are basically shouting from the rooftops that the ONLY thing you have in your ******* is a bunch of meaningless insults intended to somehow cloak the fact that your argument itself is complete bunk.

In any sort of debate, when one side resorts to "yeah, well, you're a stoopid poopy-head!" the other side has automatically won, hands down.

In other news...seek professional help. You're *this* close to coming off as a paranoid schizophrenic.

Oh really Mr. Smart guy? {Basic Set Theory Comprehension}{Do you need it?}

If it's correct, by definition it is not incorrect.
If it's incorrect, by identity it is not correct.

There's no other possibility. What are you insane? Let's see one single example of something that is both correct and incorrect at the same time. **** off with your b.s. WTF dilemma are you talking about? Simple true or false is either/or and that exhausts the whole set of possibilities. There are no other possibilities.
