I hate waiting!!Follow

#1 Jun 01 2006 at 9:24 AM Rating: Good
I've been in process of interview for a new position for about 7 weeks now. The company is now in the final decision making process. There are 2 candidates left and I am one of them. There is nothing more I can do but wait.

It's only been 2 days, but this is driving me crazy. I think i've checked my email about 1500 times between today and yesterday.

I wish they would hurry up so I can get rid of this uncertainty.

Now you know how I feel when I eagerly wait between the long dry spells of Frakkor posts.

The interview process is a lot like dating. If you just sit and wait by the phone, nothing happens. You need to be pro-active and show your interest.

Take the hiring person out for dinner and fellate him under the table.

Since this job is offered through a recruiter, and all of my questions have to go through them...would I fellate the recruiter?

Not so smoking if she has a di[Peru][/Peru]ck, although I suppose your criteria for women's looks may vary from mine.

Just got the call.

No new job for me Smiley: cry

The manager I interviewed with is recommending me for another position at the same company and is willing to be an internal refernce though. So I guess that's good.

Sorry to hear that Frakkor (T.T)

Just be sure to be a good sport about it and go congratulate the other guy with a nice swift kick in the nuts. It'll make it feel all better.

Is the other job similar? Is there a future possibility of a lateral move in the future?
#17 Jun 01 2006 at 12:14 PM Rating: Good
Yes and Yes.

I have no experience in the development language of the other job though.

Remember, any job that brings you closer to Canada is a good one. That way if hte draft is re-instated you can skip town much more quickly.

6 hours away my frigid brutha.

I'm almost at the point of wanting to relocate, if only we could afford it.

Baby Frak is awesome.

He sleeps through the night. He loves the dogs and is very content. Couldn't ask for a more perfect baby.
