Baby Neph slept through the night. 10:30-8.

Feel free to play with the subject title.

How old is he? Could this be permanent behavior, or just a one-night fluke?

Now let's see if Baby Neph can do it without putting narcotics in the formula.

We are treating it as a major fluke, although his sleeping periods have increased a little bit, to about 5-6 hours straight at night sometimes.

We are trying not to get too excited, but its hard when you are this desperate for sleep.

I didn't get any more sleep when mine started sleeping through the night. I was sure they were dead, so I woke up every few hours to make sure they were breathing.

My youngest is 4 now, and I still don't sleep good.

I have to get my son(2yrs) up at 6am just so he'll be in the bed by 7 or 8 and he sleeps through the night most times now. But I still get sleep deprived.. :/ my eyes get like this this O.o;

I think the older they get the more regular their sleeping habits become. Here's hoping you have more nights like that. I imagine you and your wife are both desperately in need of some decent sleep.

My mother gave us rum. Put us out like a light.

Suckers! All four of my kids sleep well. Hell, one of them even announces that he's tired and is going to bed. I can do the same thing. Maybe it's genetic?

Well, other than the fact that I don't see where that's funny at all, or the fact that my sister is a thriving breeder, your post made a good point.

Smiley: confused

Starting at three months I noticed my son would sleep constantly at 6-7 hours a night. That was nice

Whenever someone says "I slept like a baby" I ask them

"What? You woke up screaming and shat yourself?"

Mia didn't sleep fully through the night until she was at least 13 months. She's a dream now though...bed by 7, up at 7. No noise in between.

Zzzzzz....

My younger son's sleeping habits were legendary. When he was about a year and a half old, he wanted to be in his crib by 7:00 p.m. at night with all the lights turned off and the door closed. He slept for a solid 12 hours and would wake up at 7:00 a.m. on the dot. You could set your watch by him. So when hubby and I had our youngest one (a girl), we thought his sleep habits would rub off on her. Not even close. Smiley: cry She had colic and never had a set sleeping pattern. I think the most she ever slept in one night was 6 hours. It wasn't until she was about 4 that she started sleeping on a set schedule and that's because she started preschool.

And I was just waiting for Nephy to be crowing about his baby sleeping through the night. As soon as I saw the title I thought "yup, the baby slept."
