No, but it is your fault you're leaving it like that, you f'ucking moron.
I love it when you get all gruff with me Moe. Danalog had the power to correct it anytime. Anyway, now that the old quotes are back, it's edited.

You should be thanking me (and the boys).

Why? You're still a f'ucking moron. I should thank you for removing evidence to being said f'ucking moron? And since when is calling you a f'ucking moron getting gruff you f'ucking moron?

I'm game for forcing small text but the biggest culprit is overuse of carriage returns.

I do know what you're talking about. I called you a f'ucking moron and you didn't like it, so you asked me in your inventive way to re-think the assertion.

If it makes you feel any better, I did reconsider briefly before coming to the same conclusion.

The quote system is changing, I've backed out the change for the moment to fix a couple stylesheet issues.

Since it takes up so much less space, will you be changing the quote parser to be a proper loop? You could now probably get away with nesting up to at least 30 quotes on a 1024x768 resolution screen.

Couldn't you just take the current quoting process and condense it, like remove some of the blank space and shrink the font a bit?

It really is much easier to read, and as a bonus, it's similar to the quoting system 99% of other forums use.

The limit at the moment is a total of 12 quote's per message. If there's a reason to need more, I'll consider raising the limit. It's a recursive regex, so there needs to be a limit of somekind.

The eve site currently has new quoting in the stylesheet, this thread is here.

Far less offensive than what we saw earlier but I still prefer the old method over the multi-shaded ziggurat.

Just my opinion, anyway.

I agree.

I prefer a minimum of colors to keep the site more work-safe. The current austere quoting system helps that.

It would also be nice if the Sage names were in a deeper hue of green. The current color is very hard to read against the grey.

If what you're seeing doesn't look mostly like this, http://www.allakhazam.com/newquote.png you might need to shift+reload to get the new stylesheet.

I was wondering what everyone was yammering about, since the quotes looked pretty much the same to me, then I clicked on your link.

YUCK!

I think I will very conscientiously AVOID hitting "shift-reload" to cling to the old style sheet as long as possible.

Yeah, found that out when I got to page 2. My bad.

Sticking with the "yuck" assessment of the experimental one, though.
