Smoggy, no offense, but after the last incident do you really think anybody wants to be in a guild with you?
To answer your question, I guess that's up to everyone else. I've apologized and made peace with the people concerned with the bruhaha in WoW, in particular, with Yanari, DSD and Bhodi.
If anyone else has a problem, they can certainly talk to me or continue to be /butthurt - it's their choice. I've moved on from that fiasco, like most of the people who were directly involved with the WoW situation. I bungled things, ok? I'm Smoggy, and I make mistakes like any other person here. Sometimes even more so!
What it really boils down to is that the situation has been resolved and for the parties concerned, we've patched things up. We were friends before the fiasco and thankfully, we are now friends after.
Keep in mind as well, that I have no intention of running another guild - something I stated previously in my last post. It's too much of a pain in the ***.
Prior to the Asylumites downfall, I have the consolation of knowing that I put together and ran a great guild of folks from here, most of whom I gladly call friends. Good times were had - some of the best moments in my gaming experience. I terribly miss those I consider friends that are still in WoW. I guess if friends can't f'uck up once and a while and be forgiven, then what are friends for?
I learned some great lessons from the situation and the errors in judgement - errors I have no plans on repeating. In my own Smoggified way, I was trying to do what I thought was best for the guild.
So you can continue to bear grudges or let them go, like I have. If getting a guild together with my friends is not to be, then I'll simply join an existing guild. I know there are folks firmly rooted in WoW - hopefully in time, we can get together either in EQ2, Vanguard, or Warhammer Online.
But if we've truly gotten past the nonsense, I really don't see being in a guild with me as a problem. I'm sorry if you do.
