Glad to see you playing EQ2, Nob! Should we be looking for Nobster or another name in-game?
We'll see (If the patcher settles down) what's available.

In EQ my toons usually had Saxon names, Aelwulf, Kaerfrith, Wulfstan, Booyakasha etc. but Nobby would have a certain chachet

Ditto.....

Double Ditto. I've been through this particular song and dance before. Have I mentioned today that I already had an EQ2 account, with all my mains on the server you play on, which I deactivated a few months ago? And then I bought WoW because you guys kept going on and on about how cool it was and how much more fun than any of the other games going (including EQ2). Remember that?

Fickle fuc[Darkmagenta][/Darkmagenta]kers.

Seconded. Damn you people, decide on an MMORPG. I can't keep up. I'm only FINALLY getting into WoW, and you're all moving on. /hurt

This thread is really making me miss EQ2. I just started WoW though so I better give that a chance.

Mr. Tare will kill me if I go back to EQ now.

So I was exploring and I found the Temple of Cazic Thule. Which is surrounded by 20 ft high mobs that look like Buddha statues. Too bad they aren't peaceful.

hahaha. That happened to me when I was first exploring the Feerott. Cazic Thule is from EQ1 and I was all set to explore.... until I walked into one of those. I hadnt realized they were actually mobs. I thought they were just part of the scenery

Died near there plenty of times during the Feerott run for the jboots quest. Totally sucked that the respawn point was way over there...took 5 minutes to get out of that area to the main map to get back on course for the timed run. Smiley: motz

Sweet! What's your race/class? I've got a Halfling Monk and Dwarf Swashbuckler. I've made room for creating a Freeport toon if you have made one over there.

Are you sure you aren't on the Qeynos side? Wood Elf Ranger is a Qeynos (good) race/class.

As shown in my sig, seek out Haemish the Halfling Monk or Snorri Dwarf Swashbuckler...in about 9 hours. I just got into work about 30 mins ago. This whole 7+ hours time difference will make for tricky grouping during the week. Weekends not so much a problem though.

Bhodi's toon is Bhodisattva

DSD's toons are Faiille and Meiune

There were some other toons on (i.e., DSD's Hubby plays, but I'm blanking on the name atm.)

Anyhoo, glad to see you're all set!

If you're right-handed, try playing EQ2 with only your left hand.
