She said yes!Follow

I proposed last night to my girlfriend Stacia and she said yes Smiley: grin We started off with dinner in town and followed it up with a trip to her favorite jazz club. My best friend's stepfather knows the owner so I was able to go up on stage and propose to her there. Long story short, lots of tears and a backbreaking hug from her before she nodded and I put said ring on her finger. Sorry not the normal fodder for the Asylum, but I find myself rather happy and jittery today and can't stop smiling.

Did you propose to her in a public place because you figured she'd be less likely to say No for fear of embarassing you in front of so many people?

No date yet, we are thinking next fall. And I chose the jazz club because she loves that place and I knew it was the right place to do it. It's a bit hard to explain Smiley: laugh
