We started off with dinner in town and followed it up with a trip to her favorite jazz club. My best friend's stepfather knows the owner so I was able to go up on stage and propose to her there. Long story short, lots of tears and a backbreaking hug from her before she nodded and I put said ring on her finger. No date yet, we are thinking next fall. And I chose the jazz club because she loves that place and I knew it was the right place to do it. It's a bit hard to explain
