Get out your wallets.

Trekkies will be setting their phasers to "bid" this fall when Christie's holds the first official studio auction of memorabilia from all five "Star Trek" television series and 10 movie spinoffs.

CBS Paramount Television Studios is cleaning out its vaults for the sale, comprising more than 1,000 lots totaling some 4,000 items, to be held from October 5 to 7 in conjunction with the 40th anniversary of the original "Star Trek" series, Christie's announced on Thursday.

You can see what's up for auction here.

I'd like to take this opportunity to mention again that I have never seen a single episode of Star Trek. From what I have gathered, tons of cultural references are lost on me. There are a lot of times at work when someone will say something that they intend to be funny/clever/whatever and I give them a blank stare. This is usually followed by "Oh yeah, I forget you have never seen Star Trek!"

Do they have any of those green alien women in the silver miniskirts and beehive hairdos?

I'll take three.

Also they have a Klingon Captain's Chair. That sounds awesome. Probably wouldn't roll like my current desk chair though.
